Polypipe is one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of piping systems, water management solutions and energy-efficient ventilation systems, delivering engineered solutions that respond to a rapidly changing environment.
Popi were asked to create an explainer video for 2 of the Polypipe product lines, PolyPlumb and PolyFit. After initial storyboards we went and filmed the required footage in their factory, which is only a 5 minute walk from our offices in Aylesford. We also created 3D scenes to show the internal workings of the products.

Ease of use
The videos are designed to highlight just how easy to use the products are. A simple explanation sequence shows the whole process so that customers know exactly how to use the product before they purchase.
Real world environment
To show how flexible the Polypipe system is we filmed some scenes in a real life situation. Doing this meant we could show how easy it was to work with, as well as the range of fittings available.
3D Animation
The best way to show the inner workings of the product was by using 3D rendering. It removed real world limitations and we are able to show water flowing perfectly through the pipe.
All in-house
The complete project was created by Popi. Everything from the storyboards right through to the editing was created all in-house. The only reason we had to leave the building was to go and film the products at the Polypipe factory!
