The Kentish Lady is a boat trip service based in Maidstone. They offer a unique experience of the River Medway from 1 hour trips to 3 hour cruises (with commentary). They also use the boat as a unique venue for wedding receptions and private parties.
The Kentish Lady asked Popi to produce a new brand identity, making consideration for the fact that the existing branding was well known in the area.
Evolution of the brand
As the Kentish Lady already had a brand in place, our objective was to refresh this and make it feel fresh, whilst ensuring that existing customers still feel comfortable that they are still getting the same great service they were used to.
Logo options
We produced multiple options to show the various directions in which we could take the logo. They all remained in the colour of the existing logo to help it stay recognisable to existing customers.
Illustration
The final logo uses a simple line illustration of the Kentish Lady boat. This creates a bespoke and interesting icon to sit above the word mark.
A range of printed items
Once the new logo was created we refreshed the marketing materials to fit in with the new branding. This included signs, leaflets, calendars and more. All designed and printed in-house at Popi.
